The trainees receive sound training and free lunch



Four new apprentices

Mühlhausen. For four young men, their apprenticeship at Fischer Licht & Metall began on Monday. Three of them have decided to train as construction mechanics, one has chosen the profession of electrical systems fitter.

After a guided tour of the company, the new employees were assigned to their individual departments, marking the beginning of their working lives. In the course of their three to three-and-a-half-year apprenticeship, all four will pass through the various departments of the company and will thus be able to gain professional experience in all areas. The Fischer apprentices receive free brand-name workwear and can eat lunch for free in the company cafeteria.

"We offer our trainees a sound craft training and take our social training mission seriously, among other things by teaching them social values," says Stephan K. Fischer, Managing Director of the 200-strong Mühlhausen-based company, which has been producing illuminated advertising systems and metal components for more than 80 years.
