Visit of the member of the state parliament Albert Füracker at FISCHER Licht & Metall on 25.06.2013

MdL Füracker on visit

Mühlhausen. Albert Füracker, member of the state parliament, visited FISCHER Licht & Metall in Mühlhausen on Tuesday. During a tour with Managing Director Stephan K. Fischer and the Technical Manager, Roland Plank, MdL Füracker got to know the production at FISCHER. Füracker, who has represented the district of Neumarkt in the Bavarian State Parliament since 2008, emphasized that as an independent farmer and entrepreneur he was very interested in the economy in the district.

The member of parliament was enthusiastic about the fact that the advertising systems that FISCHER manufactures are illuminated with LEDs in a particularly energy-saving way. He was also shown how the substructures for photovoltaic systems are manufactured and how easily the solar modules can be mounted on different roofs.

During the tour, the 45-year-old noticed that all employees they met always greeted them politely. Stephan Fischer explained that values such as politeness and respect, which used to be taken for granted, often have to be relearned today. His family business, he said, places great importance on teaching and applying these values. The CSU member of parliament praised this attitude and was pleased to learn, rather casually, that he had been able to meet the "step-grandson" of the party's founder, Otto Schedl. The former district administrator of Neumarkt and Bavarian Minister of State and Finance had also always been a man of values, Füracker said. After the death of his first wife, Otto Schedl had married Stephan Fischer's grandmother and the widow of company founder Kurt Fischer.
