TRAINEE START AT FISCHER
Five apprentices started their careers at FISCHER LICHT & METALL on 1 September.
- 1 electrical system fitter
- 1 metal technology specialist
- 2 construction mechanics
- 1 sign and light sign maker
With the new arrivals this year, the company now has a total of 22 trainees, spread over four years. This corresponds to a training quota of just under 10 %, which is well above the national average of 4.8 %.
Production Manager Benjamin Köbl and his team of trainers warmly welcomed the young people. "Every year, we are pleased anew to support the next generation, which is so important for the industry, with our almost 100 years of KNOW-HOW. The long-term retention and subsequent employment of our junior staff is our goal," Köbl, who himself started his professional life with an apprenticeship at FISCHER, can well understand the excitement of the newcomers.
A relaxed introduction to the contact persons and a tour of the company premises provided a good overview on the first day of work.
Anyone who would also like to be there for the start of training in 2024 can already find out about the vacant training positions at www.fischer-lum.de.
