FISCHER GOES HIKING
BEST PROSPECTS FOR THE FISCHER HIKING TEAM
Once a year our FISCHER-WANDERTAG takes place. Last Saturday was the day again. At 6 o'clock in the morning, the bus with the FISCHER WANDERTEAM set off from the company car park in the direction of the Ammergau Alps.
After a four-hour drive, including an extensive snack break, we started our hike from the car park of the Tegelberg cable car along the Rautbach and further along the so-called Schutzengelweg to the Rohrkopfhütte at 1,359 m above sea level. Even here there was a magnificent view.
Part of the group lingered on the cosy terrace, for the others it was further uphill. High above Schwangau and Füssen, the Tegelberghaus at 1,707 m was waiting. After 2.5 hours of climbing and 870 metres of altitude, the persevering hikers had more than earned a snack! They were rewarded with a magnificent view of the Forggensee and the Bannwaldsee.
The descent led over the Marienbrücke vantage point with a spectacular view of Neuschwanstein Castle. At the bottom of the car park, everyone arrived safely and dropped into the comfortable seats of the bus, exhausted and filled with the many beautiful impressions. Our trusted bus driver, who has been accompanying our excursions for years, brought us back safely to Mühlhausen.
Once again we had a wonderful day together, best views, good food and a great atmosphere. We are already looking forward to a continuation in 2024!
